Welcome to Mayhem Nation!
Big news — Mayhem is actively coordinating with the Arapahoe Youth League (AYL) and in the initial stages to become a recognized AYL club - pending Executive Board approval!
We’re proud to represent Aurora Public Schools, serving families and student-athletes who will attend the following high schools:
- Aurora Central
- Aurora West
- Vanguard Easton
- Rangeview
- Vista Peak
- Empower Community HS
- Hinkley
- William Smith
Our Mission
Our goal is simple: to provide quality youth sports opportunities for a historically underrepresented part of our community.
We’re creating a safe, fun, and educational environment where young athletes can learn, grow, and thrive through sport.
Clearing Up the Confusion
Let’s clear up a misconception — Mayhem is not replacing the Spartans.
When we first launched Mayhem as a lacrosse-only club serving all of Aurora, some confusion arose. The Spartan Youth Sports Club still exists and continues to proudly serve the Southeast Aurora community, representing Cherry Creek Schools (Grandview, Smoky Hill, Eaglecrest, and Cherokee Trail).
What It Means to Be an AYL Club
As part of the AYL, we follow league bylaws and guidelines — including team composition rules. Each team must consist primarily of “in-district” players, determined by the high school they’re projected to attend.
This ensures that kids grow, compete, and build lasting friendships with the same teammates they’ll play alongside in high school — something we at Mayhem fully support as part of their personal and athletic development.
Looking Ahead
We’re beyond excited to expand the Mayhem brand in lacrosse and strengthen our impact across the Aurora community.
Stay tuned for more updates as we grow, serve, and continue to build opportunities for our young athletes!
